Art For the Soul

I create art that makes the viewer feel joy! I strive to create happy and colorful art for the purpose of lifting moods and spirits. Color, if used correctly, heals the body and soul!!

I have loved creating art for as long as I can remember. I studied art all through school. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia.   My fine arts professor was John Chapman Lewis a member of the Washington School and well known DC area artist. I continue to educate myself on new mediums, techniques and supplies.

I went on to a career in commercial interior design in the Washington DC area for many years.  During my career, my art branched into graphic art, landscape design and furniture design.  My art is in collections all over the United States, and eight other countries.

My work has been seen at the Art and Roses Festival, Meridian Fine Arts Festival, private showings at local businesses and soon the Riverside Gallery (March-April 2025) and the St. Al’s Art gallery wall (September 2025).  My piece, Fall Aspens, was juried into the Sears Art Museum annual show and sale (February-March 2025) in St. George, Utah.

Life is about color and joy!

Art is something that makes you breathe with a different kind of happiness.
